There is a growing sense that un-churched children across the United Kingdom are not receiving significant opportunities to hear the Christian message. In response to this issue, Crusaders and the Church Pastorial Aid Society (CPAS), in partnership with the LBC Productions, have produced a pioneering new series of training videos that seek to promote the vital need for Children’s outreach and thoroughly equip leaders to carry it out effectively.
Inspired by God’s passion for children, this resource highlights the Bible’s guidelines for our role, as individuals and as a church family, in the spiritual growth of children. It offers valuable insights into the world of today’s children, together with guidance on how they learn and grow spiritually. In a society where increasingly few children attend church, Christian Life & Children looks at sharing the gospel with both ‘churched’ and ‘unchurched’ children. It will help you develop a strategy for becoming ‘bringers’ of children to Christ.
Each of its six ready-to-use sessions, has three video sections (presented by Crusaders’ Executive Director, Matt Summerfield) followed by discussion, Bible study and prayer. The resource includes a leaders’ guide and participants’ notes. Additional material is supplied on the CD and is also accessible via the website. Christian Life & Children can form the basis of a credited distance-learning qualification.
